Upper gears are installed using a very accurate shimming system to
insure gear longivity.
A mis-shimmed gearset may only last a couple of hours!
Mercruiser Upper Gearsets are Machine Matched for smooth operation & minimal tooth wear.
The Kits come in different ratios and most include bearings, shims and seals needed.
