Would you buy a boat that had cheap oil filters installed?
Change your oil filters every 50 to 100 hours of running time.
Always smear a film of clean engine oil on the o-ring before installation.
Never over tighten your filters.
Use a marker pen and write the date the filter was installed on the filter itself
Make sure your filter is clean and not rusted.
Make sure you remove the old o-ring with the old filter! Doubling o-rings will cause a leak!
Get your engine oil warm before trying to suck the old oil out your dipstick tube.
