As a rule of "thumb", you should be able to hold your hand
on top of the elbow without getting burned and having to pull away.
If the elbow is too hot, then it may be bad.
Exhaust Elbows tend to rust through in a few years.
We recommend removing your elbows once each year to inspect
for leaks, cloggs and failing gaskets.
If in doubt, throw it out!
