COST?
Each shaft is $1,200.00 and you will need about $150.00 in misc parts.
The unit must then be "hard-shimmed" with perfect pinion hieghts and gear "run-outs".
Labor to install the shafts, reshim and reseal is $ 300.00 each.
If you Don't?
The first time you twist the shafts will run you AT LEAST $1,400.00 and
That is IF you didn't loose your prop.
Also, when the driveshaft twists it forces the upper spiral stubshaft up
into the driveshaft housing thus possibly ruining the upper gears
Sounds Expensive?
Maybe. But when you have finished twisting your second set of stock shafts
and lost a stainless prop or two then you will think it's reasonable.
